It had been a very eventful day. Julia got pissed off at me this morning, which caused me to fire my secretary, although she did make a valid point as to why I had a secretary when she was my assistant.
It made no sense to me either when I thought about it. Then we made up and had to meet my parents and the pack for lunch, which felt like being interrogated by the CIA at times, and last but not least, her roommate Cat's photography studio burned down.
When I talked to my guy, Trey, and sent him the information he needed to look into things, he informed me someone had deliberately set the studio on fire. Cat is like a sister to Julia, and family in her eyes, so I need to focus entirely on all the evidence before making any breaks in as to why this happened.
