So many things had happened in the last few days, it had my mind in a frenzy and my anxiety in overdrive. I took Julia out to her favorite restaurant for her birthday and even went out of the way to get her the silk dress she had been eyeballing for weeks, along with the highly expensive perfume she spotted in the window.
