I wanted to take Julia to dinner, but she insisted on staying in and watching movies, plus I had work to do concerning the Blood Pack that needed to be dealt with.
"Trevarius, I knew you were the man for the job. Let me know if anything else arises in the meantime. I have the perimeter secured. Even if a mosquito tries to get through, I will know. I don't want to alert Julia about the discovery just yet; with her being pregnant, she doesn't need her stress level to rise."
"Congratulations again."
"Thank you. We will continue this discussion tomorrow at noon. Let the guards know I sent you, and they will let you through. I have to go. I can hear my mate approaching down the hall."
