“Are you alright, Eira? You have tears in your eyes,” Daisy’s question called my attention back to reality. Brushing the tears off my eyes, “I’m fine. Just excited with the news. We’ll finally get to enter the mansion.” I lied. “Yeah!!! I’m excited too,” she hugged me tightly, and strangely, it felt like I needed that hug for comfort. Breaking off the hug, “Let’s finish up here quickly. We need to wash and press our uniforms before dawn.” She picked up a hoe closer to mine and began to dig the soil. We toiled our portion until it was time for the sun to settle. Luckily, we were able to finish up. We packed up, marked our names, and returned to the quarter. Daisy couldn't keep shut about how excited she was and I was also excited for her. Seemed like going to the mansion meant so much
