“So everything ok?”
“Yes, baby. The doctor is very optimistic but your mom has to stay here in London until the end of the treatment”
Valeria is Natalie’s mom and she knows a very good doctor in London her husband's older brother. When Natalie told her about my mother she immediately talked to the doctor and now that is spring break they go together to London.
“Is that possible?” I ask Natalie
“Yes, baby. Our moms already love each other. My mum is very happy to host her. Don’t worry. Your mom also needs to change the environment”
“Ok. If there is no problem. Thank you for your help baby girl” It’s so beautiful that Natalie wants to help us like that. We know her too little and she is part of the family already.
“You don’t have to help me. I love your mom and I’m ok to help if I can. So and my mom and Andrew”

“She great. She helps Grandma as much as she can. Soon she will be back”

“Grandma has to stay there for a while. Until she gets well. The doctor wants her there for the treatment” he looks down a little. After a while, he looks at me

“We hope so buddy. The doctor says she will be ok. But she has to be there”
“I guess we have to wait. If she back ok I will be patient” I smile
“You are such a great kid son. I’m so proud of you” and I hug him. These days I don’t go to work, I’m on break to stay home with Dylan. I can't wait for you and for to Natalie come back. We are one month as a couple and the only I want is to be with her all the time. She is in my head all the time. I never felt like this before.
The rest of the day I spent my time with Dylan. I had a long time to spend time with him. It’s really good that we have some time together.
“Thanks, Dad for today. I have a really good time.”
“I’m happy Dylan. I'm sorry that I have to work so much” I say as I put him in bed for sleep.
“It’s fine Dad. I know you doing it for me. I hope to be like you someday. To do everything to have my family happy and safe” I’m a little moved by what he said. I sigh
“You are already a great kid Dylan. You will be a great man one bay and you will have your family and I will still be proud of you” he smiles and lays down.

“Goodnight Dad. If you talk to grandma and Natalie tell them that I miss them”
“You already talk to them” I laugh as I turn to go to the door.
“Yeah, I know. But I do miss them. And I want them to know that” I turn to look at him
“They do. I will tell them. Good Night “ I say and close the door. I go to my bedroom and I go for a shower. I step in and the water running my body. “About Evelyn?”
“He misses her. But he says if she is back wealthy he will be patient.”
“He is such a good kid Sam. You should be proud.”
“I am. And I told him today.”
“That’s great. He should know how you feel. And I think now that it’s the two of you alone you have the chance to bond more”
“I know. We already doing that. Thank you that you worry about us”
“Sam stop thanking me. I do what I do because I love all of you. I can help so I’m doing it. Stop thanking me please.” I smile thinking about what she says

“I promise” We chat a little more and then we go to sleep. The next day I and Dylan spent another day together. We talk to my mother and Natalie and go out. We go to the mall to buy some stuff for Dylan's paintings and we take a present for Natalie. A pretty silver bracelet with hearts. We go for dinner with David and Eva and then back home. The week passes quickly and tomorrow Natalie returns and we are more than excited.
“I’m ready Dad.” We go to the car and we go to the fire station where I work. Dylan wants to see where I’m working so I good opportunity.
