Chapter 9

Martha's POV

After the party john and I went to our room and decided to sleep, since the day was so long with preparing for the party we hardly got any sleep. So we were pretty tired after it was all said and done.

The next morning came and I woke up feeling very refreshed like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. I was so pleased with how party went yesterday and glad that the whole pack excepted me as their Luna.

I got up and did my morning routine witch consisted of brushing my hair and teeth. Washing my face and taking a shower. When I was done I put on a blue blouse and black dress pants. As I was walking out of the closet attached to our room I saw that John had woken up and he was staring at me with so much adoration and love. He got up and walked over to me and tried to give me a kiss but I stoped him and said " Morning breath. Fix it then you get a kiss." I finished with a small smirk on my face because he seemed dumbfounded that I would deny him a kiss. Then after trying again he gave up and went to do his mourning routine.

When he was done with his mourning routine he came out of the bathroom and looked devishly handsome in his fitted shirt and blue jeans, that make his ass look great might I add, and hair still wet from the shower he just took. In all honesty he looked sexy. I haven't relised I was staring until he cleared his throat pulling me out of my trans state. When I realized I was staring a very noticeable blush ape are on my cheeks and I tried to hide it, when John grabbed my hands before I could cover up my face and said " don't hide it from me. I find it cute when you blush and it's like I've fallen in love with you all over again because your you and you don't have to be embarrassed in front of me. I love you no matter what." He said with so much truth in his words that I wound up crying tears of joy.

After an hour of talking in our room we finally left to get our productive day started. John and I headed to his office so we cane sign some paperwork for the pack. When we got there we saw three huge piles of paperwork that need to be read and approved or declined. "Well we have our wok cut out for us today" John said with a hint of amusement on his face because I was staring at the stacks of paper in disbelief. "Ya we do! How are we going to be able to finish all of this?" I ask with curiosity in my tone. He said " well, how about we each start with a stack and then once we're done with our own stacks we will split the third pile in half for each of us to do? How does that sound to you?" I looked at him and nodded saying it was a good plan to split the work up that way we get done faster.

It took us five hours to complete all of the paperwork and I wondered how he did this all by himself before He found me. When we decided to leave the comfort of his office we headed to the kitchen and make us some lunch since it was already 12 o'clock in the afternoon. I decided to make us each two sandwiches and chips with a drink of our choice. After ten minutes of eating we are finished and satisfied with our meals.

We decided to go for a walk in the woods so we can't talk while enjoying the woods. When we started walking we relised that we new next to nothing about each other so we decided to play 20 questions. "Favorite color?" I asked. "Green. Yours?" he asked. "Umm teal. What's your favorite movie"I asked him. "I would have to say Jaws because I love shark movies." he said and I looked at him in shock that he liked shark movies. " do you have a favorite movie?" he asked. " well I've never really been able to watch a movie so I don't have one." I said with sincerity in my tone of voice. After I said that he looked at me and asked " how bad was your childhood in that pack?" With that question I took in a deep breath and told home everything, from when I was found in their pack when I was a baby to them treating me like s**t and then when the torture started. When I was finished telling him my tell I was full out crying because it felt good to let it all out in the open and to know that I was safe with my mate and new pack.
