Chapter 5

Martha's Pov

As i head down the kitchen t make dinner for the pack I smelt my mate again. As i stood there breathing in his smell, I didn't realize that he was right behind me. Once i realized it i stiffened and continued my way to the kitchen. I might have gotten rejected but this is still one of the best birthdays I have had in my life since I came here.

After I was done with making dinner the omegas took the food out, not even sparing me a glance. I was even lower than the omegas. I cleaned up the kitchen and then right after they finished dinner I cleaned up the dining room. After all the cleaning I went up to my room still happy about how the day turned out for me. Once i was done getting ready for bed i was startled by my door being kicked open. '' Hey you b***h you didn't clean the kitchen the right way'' Alpha Ian said while slurring his words together..

He grabbed me by my hair and dragged me down stairs where both of the pack where and my whole pack was in a large circle surpassingly waiting for me. Once we got to the circle Alpha Ian threw me into the circle while kicking me and saying '' Stupid b***h'' kick '' You don't deserve to live in this world your too weak'' kick ''No wonder you don't have a mate'' kick, kick, kick ''Maybe the moon goddess agrees with me by when I say your never gonna get one because you ugly, stupid, fat, and a servant.'' ''No one in the world will ever want to be with you.'' after he was done yelling at me the other in my pack took a turn kicking, punching, and more. This went on for another hour before I saw my mate just sitting on the couch watching me.

The beating went on for another hour before Missy got annoyed with just beating me and she grabbed a sword and plunging it into my abdomen. The last thing I remember was my mate standing up and yelling at everyone to stop immediately. Then everything went dark.

Alpha John's Pov

As I watched them beat her I felt so bad that this was happening to her when we knew we were mates and I am supposed to protect, cherish, and love her for the rest of our lives, but no I did nothing for the whole two hours she was beaten. As soon as the she-wolf I think her name is Missy stabbed Martha in the stomach I just lost it. I yelled and pushed people out of the way. Alpha Ian asked '' Why do you care what happens to this stupid mutt she's just a servant?'' ''I care because she's my mate'' I said with pure hatred for Alpha Ian and his pack. Once i got to her i picked her up and ran to pack doctor because I knew with how deep and weak she must be she won't be able to heal in time before she bleeds to death.

Once I get to the pack doctors office he said that he's not allowed to work on her and that made me even more angry. I growled and made an alpha command '' You are going to work on her or i will kill you and your family'' he submitted by showing me his neck and he took Martha and put her on a gurney while calling out to more people to get the surgery room ready. They are still in surgery and its been ten hours so far. I decided to go and get some rest and take a shower. When i get back to my room I am met with alpha Ian saying '' You don't want her, take one of the other more suitable she-wolfs as your mate and we will take that thing off your hands.'' '' NO.'' I said in my alpha voice which caused him to want to submit.'' As soon as she recovers my pack and I are taking her back with us'' I said. Which took him by shock. ''You can't take her she belongs to me unless I sell her which I'm not planning on doing for a very long time'' he said sternly. After he comment I just exploded '' YOU CAN NOT TELL ME IF I CAN OR CANT TAKE MY MATE BACK TO MY PACK. ONCE SHE FOUND ME YOU COULD NOT KEEP HER AWAY FROM ME. SHE IS MINE, YOU HEAR ME MINE.'' With that he left me to my thoughts. I took a shower and then went to sleep. I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I looked at it and it said the hospital, i answered immediately. ''Hello.'' Yes my name is doctor Lockwood. I am the lead doctor on Martha's situations'' ''Yes is she ok? How did the surgery go?'' ''So far the surgery has been successful, but...
