CHAPTER 8: Marriage Agreement

Xyra Eunice POV

"What if we seek help from your brothers, X." Hanna suggested. We are still in the middle of a conversation wherein this freaking agreement is making the hell out of me crazy as the craziest.

"No, not right now. It isn't the right time for them to know." I answered.

"Uni is right. Ni hindi pa nga tayo nangangalahati sa mission natin." Dagdag pa ni Mid.

"But how long are we going to keep it from them?" Aries asked.

"As long as hindi pa natin nalalaman ang buong katotohan sa likod ng mga pangyayari noon." I answered, remembering the terrible, traumatizing and most painful thing that ever happened in our lives.

I lost the other part of me. I lost my dearest best friend. I almost lost my parents. We lost Mid's parents.

"Is it better to put that matter at rest, princess? Or might we as well tell kuya Euno and kuya Dex?" Nag-aalalang tugon ni Aries.

"May point si young master, Queen. Hindi naman sa pinangungunahan namin ang disisyon mo and we know how you feel. Ngunit baka mas ikakapahamak mo pa ito." Mahabang saad ni Clarise.

"Hindi pwedi. Kung ang pinag-aalala niyo na baka kainin kami ng galit at paghihiganti, well you're wrong." Pagpapakalma ni Mid sa kanila.

"Mid is right. We know what we are doing, and we are not going to lose this battle. Not from them, not from all the enemies, not from ourselves." I assured them.

"And we will not leave you sa laban mo kahit ano at saan pa yan." Tugon naman ni Black na kinasang-ayunan ng lahat.

We had already told everything to Aries except that I am the legendary Phoenix master. He knows now why we're back for good and why we are transferring to L-University.

"Bakit kasi nagkaroon ng marriage agreement?" Takang tanong nama ni Keisuke.

"Honestly, we don't really know the origin of that damn arrangement," Mid answered.

I know Hanna and Clarise reported it to me the moment they transferred here. I also received previous notifications via mail regarding this matter but Mid and I choose to ignore it. Aside from Mid is agaisn't it, I also did not dig into it. So, it still shocked the hell out of me.

"We are also in search for it. As for now, we only know that your grandfather from your father's side owes a favor from Ivan's grandfather. They're friends and business partners, and in the later years they become each other's number enemy. It says na both grandchildren will get married when the lady reaches 18." Mahabang paliwanag ni Hanna.

"Pano nalaman na si Eunice at Ivan ang ikakasal?" Takang tanong ni Star.

"Dahil si Eunice lang ang nag-iisang babae sa kanilang pamilya and so is Ivan, the only heir of the Guerrero's." Clarise answered.

"Enemy na naman pala sila, eh bakit valid pa ang agreement?" Black asked.

"Dahil hindi na revoke at magiging daan ito upang makuha ni Ivan ang mana galing sa kanyang lolo at, magiging dahilan upang pamunuan ang organisasyong nabuo ng mga lolo nyo noon." Hanna explained.

"I was thingking, kung ikasal ako sa iba, syempre malalaman ni Ivan yon, sa dami ba namang mata ng Inferno Mafia. Baka magdulot ito ng isang matinding labanan." Saad ko.

"Hindi malayong mangyari ang iniisip mo, princess. Paniguradong marami nang mata ang nakabantay sa mga galaw mo." Nag-aalalang tugon ni Aries.

"Tama si Aries. Isa na nga don ang nangyari sa cafeteria. Dadagdagan namin ang security sa University and magpaparagdag din ako ng mga reapers mo." Keisuke said.

"Pano kung sakyan ko ang trip nilang ikasal ako kay Ivan? Baka may mga impormasyon din akong mahanap." Saad ko bigla.

"NO!" / "That will not happen!" / "NO WAY!" / "Are you crazy?" sabay-sabay nilang bulalas.

"Why? Kaya ko naman and isa pa, di naman nila alam ang identity ko. Also, andyan naman kayo." I said with assurance.

"That, we don't agree, Queen. Papasok ka palang sa buhay ng mga Guerrero, para mo nalang sinuko lahat ng mga paghihirap na dinanas natin dahil tuso ang mga iyon." Mid said.

"This is making me insane! Then, what? Who will be my groom then?" Saad ko nalang.

"Ako!" A very daring, sophisticated voice echoed through the room. Sabay kaming napatingin sa entrance ng opisina dito sa HQ.

"Seriously?!" Bulong ni Star.

Travis Keil POV



I am still thinking of the possibilities na baka nga sina Eunice ang Scorpios. Pero imposible naman kasi parang napaka inosente ng babaeng iyon. Maldita nga lang.

"King, sorry to interrupt kung ano man iyang iniisip mo. I just received a call which you really have to know." Night said, interrupting my thoughts.

"Go on..." I responded.

"Aryx Corp., is where the Scorpios are working. 85% possibility na andon sila. Hindi pa tukoy kung anong pagkakakilanlan nila pati mga posisyon. But we found out Eunice's group are working there." Saad ni Night.

"So, what's your point?" I think I know it.

"We will either do a co-operation with the company or let Light work there as an intern." Nakangising tugon ni Night.

"No, I'll handle that matter. Anything else?" I said. Gusto ko ding malaman kung anong meron sa Eunice na yon.

"Ivan is getting married, and you are invited to their engagement party 2 days from now." Night answered.

"Ang malas manan ng bride... We'll send out someone to bring our gifts. No need to waste our time attending," I commented.

"Well, the bride is Eunice." Mapanuksong tugon ni Night.

"I don't c- WHAT?!" I blurred out.

"Sobrang halata ka na, King pffff..." Night said sabay labas sa room namin dito sa HQ.
