"Good morning, ladies!" Aries greeted while walking towards our dining area where we are at the moment.
"Good morning, Ri!" Sabay naming tugon ni Mid.
"Yow! Magandang umaga din sayo." Bati naman ni Star.
"Good morning!" Ngiting sagot ni Black.
Kinikilig ang lola nyo kung makangiti, wagas.
"Who's with you Ri? And the voice earlier sounds familiar..." Mid asked.
"Oh, well— mga kuya, pasok!" Kwelang tugon ni Aries.
Ang kulukoy din neto minsan eh.
"Hi guys! Princess...." Saad ng napaka familiar na boses.
OMG! Why are they here?! Don't tell me the organization needs us?!
Well, our family has a well-known and respected organization which uphold the highest ranking and has lots of charity programs. The one and only, Golden Scorpion. Hindi naman lahat ng organization ay masama.
Naging masama lang sa iba ang org namin dahil sa mga traydor at gumagamit ng pangalang 'Golden Scorpion' sa black market.
Few have known its origin and kung sino ang namamahala neto. My family knows our ability/skills, but they didn't know yet na kami ang Scorpios at ako ang Legendary Phoenix. They knew our code names but did not know were a gangster.
"Waahhhhh! Kuya Euno!" I excitedly stand up at patakbong sinalubong si kuya and then hug him tight. God! How much I miss my kuyas!
"How's our princess doing?" Tanong ni kuya sabay kalas sa yakap.
"I'm doing well, kuya. I f*****g miss you!" I exclaimed.
"Watch your word young lady! And I miss you too." Tugon naman ni kuya Euno.
Ayaw niya talagang nag sasalita ako ng 'alien' words daw ayon sa kanya (he meant bad words).
"Ehemm... Miss me too, princess?" A man's voice behind kuya Euno.
Nakatulala lang ako sa harapan ng taong matagal ko ng hindi nakikita sa personal. Panay video call lang.
"Arent you going to give me a hug too?" He asked again dahil hindi pa rin ako nakakibo.
No way! Shemmmmssss! Am I dreaming?! Kuya Dex is also here.
"Kuya, Dex?! Are you for real?! Oh My God!" I can't believe it.
Lagi lang kami naka video call ni Kuya Dex and family gatherings lang kami nagkikita.
"What a way of saying you miss me too. You silly young lady!" Patampong saad ni kuya Dex.
"Sorry kuya... I just can't believe you're here... And of course, I miss you too, so much." Mangiyak-ngiyak na tugon ko.
He is the eldest, our kuya Dex. I am super spoiled sa kanya kahit nasa malayo yan.
"Common, give me a hug... Don't just stand there and being like a crybaby." Natatawang saad ni kuya pati na rin mga kasa namin dito ay natawa din.
The moment my kuya Dex's hand spread widely, I run into him and hugged him tightly. Damn, I really missed this man.
We got caught up for like an hour. And we also decided not to work today.
Nasa sala na kami nag-uusap.
"What brings you here pala kuya Euno?" Naunahan na ako ni Mid magtanong.
"Well, first, we really miss our princess, and we would love to attend on your Valentine's Ball tonight at the university." Panimula ni kuya Euno.
Oh! Really? How the hell I am not aware of that Valentine's Ball. And it is happening tonight for petes sake!
"And we heard that the Lady Phoenix will be there. They said she just arrived yesterday and will be studying at your university for good." Segunda naman ni kuya Dex.
Nagkatinginan kami nina Mid, Black and Star. Aries doesn't know who really Lady Phoenix is yet.
"You mean to say the Legendary Phoenix, kuya Dex?" I asked.
I make sure hindi mahahalata sa boses ko na kinakabahan ako.
"Yes, princess. According to our men, kararating nya lang dito galing Europe. We have to meet her dahil makakatulong siya sa atin and there are speculations that she is very close to the scorpios." Mahabang sagot ni kuya Dex.
Hindi naman ako galing Europe and it's been weeks since we arrived here.
"Paano niyo po nalaman na dadalo mamayang gabi si Lady Phoenix?" Takang tanong ni Black sabay tapon ng tingin sakin.
"She anonymously announced her appearance." Kuya Euno answered.
"Aries? Did you know something about it?" Mid turned the question to Aries.
"No, I haven't heard of it not until today." He answered.
Nakakapagtaka. I also know what my gangmates are thinking. Someone is trying to impersonate Lady Phoenix.
We did our best to shift the mood and divert my kuya's attention. They left already dahil mag p-prepare pa daw sila and they choose to do it sa mansion. Naiwan kaming apat nina Mid, Black and Star.
"Someone is trying to impersonate you, Queen." Mid said, seriously.
"Let's see how that fake one looks like." Star commented.
"What's your plan, X?" Black asked me.
"Tell Keisuke, Clarise and Hanna to prepare our men and guard the entire university. Worst case to come, dapat walang inosenteng madamay kung sakaling magkagulo. Ensure enough people to guard my brothers and Aries. Deploy backups for us." I instructed, with my most commanding tone of voice.
"Copy!" They all acknowledged in unison.
"How about that fake one? What's our plan?" Mid asked.
"Let's play her game. Don't reveal anything yet." Tugon ko at isang nakakakilabot na ngisi ang pinakawalan ko.
Humanda ka kung sino kaman. Mali ka ng pinasok at ginaya.
"How about my date?" Star exclaimed with a matching worried eye.
"We don't need one." I answered.
"Anong, we don't need one. You have your husband, Black has Aries and Mid has that Maxwell guy! What about me?!" Mahabang litanya ni Star.
Ang worry na talaga ng mukha niya. Pero bakit bumilis t***k ng puso ko nong binanggit niya ang 'husband'.
"Don't worry, Clarise doesn't have one... I mean, madami naman don. Or si kuya Euno nalang. Aish, you know what, tayo na lang. Hindi naman ako niyaya ni Travis and hello? We're not really married for real, remember?" Nasabi ko nalang para mabawasan ang worries niya.
Half-truth naman din dahil di ako niyaya ni Travis and it pangs in my heart knowing na we are just acting. It's kind of weird now.
"Alright! Now let's go get our dresses ready!" Excited na saad ni Star.
"The fierce, hot and seductive ones, here we go!" Dagdag ni Black na ikinangiwi namin ni Mid.
Here we go again... How can Mid and I get out of this freaking style of dresses.
