“I know her,” Alexis says, her voice dripping with venom. “Why do you ask? Did that snake message you? Geez, she’s probably already feeling insecure about Noah and trying to start her usual drama.”
“No, she didn't message me. Why would she even do that?” I reply, concerned by the piece of information.
“Because you don't know her yet!” Alexis scoffs, waving her hand dismissively.
“She can. Stephanie is the most conniving, pretending little liar I have ever had the misfortune of knowing. No wonder she’s doing so great in her acting career, she plays the victim card perfectly.”
I lean forward, a specific question burning a hole in my tongue. I need answers to the doubt that has been suffocating me since the restaurant night. “Is... was she with Noah?”
