I WILL DESTROY WHOEVER BROKE HER

1017 Words
NOAH’S POV I close the bedroom door softly behind me, leaving Aria curled up against the pillows. She’s stable now, her voice steady as she talks to her son on the phone. Her soft, melodic laugh hits me like a punch to the gut. That gentle tone, the warmth in it… it’s meant for someone else. Even if it’s her own child, the irrational spike of jealousy burns in my chest. Mine. The word thunders relentlessly in my head. I want that softness directed at me. Only me. No one else should get that side of her. Not tonight. Maybe not ever. Not when I was so close to finally claiming every inch of her. I drag a hand roughly through my hair, my body still painfully wound up. My c**k throbs insistently against my sweatpants, refusing to calm. My c**k hasn’t gone down. How the f**k could it when she is lying in my bed, wrapped in my sheets, her sweet, feminine scent mixed with lingering arousal still clinging to my skin? The kisses we shared earlier, every heated stroke pouring out years of pent-up hunger had nearly undone me. Her body had melted against mine, wet and willing, her little whimpers driving me insane. But then the tears. The fear. Something or someone—had broken her, and the memory of how she had sobs still haunts me. I slam the study door and bark into the intercom. “Falcon. Matteo. Now.” They appear within minutes, faces alert. Falcon shifts uncomfortably under my stare. “What have you found about her time in Paris?” I demand, leaning back against my desk, arms crossed. Falcon swallows. “Sir, the team hasn’t sent anything substantial yet. They… couldn’t find much. It’s like someone’s been hiding her tracks. Records are sparse. Clean.” What the hell did you go through, princess? Who hurt her badly enough to leave scars this deep? Who made her flinch and cry when I tried to take what’s mine? The image of her tears flashes again in my mind, those wide, terrified eyes. My hands clench into fists. I’ll find the bastard. I’ll unravel every secret, every shadow from her past, and I will destroy whoever they are, piece by piece. Slowly. Painfully “I need you to dig deeper,” I growl. “Unravel everything. Her life in Paris, her relationships, her son every damn detail. And most importantly, find the fuckers that hurts her. I need names. Whatever it takes.” Falcon nods sharply. “We’ll expand the search. Pull in more resources.” Matteo exchanges a quick glance with Falcon before stepping forward. “There is something else, sir. From tonight’s event.” He pauses, choosing his words carefully. “Lora and Jessica,” When he saw my confused expression at the unfamiliar names. “Miss Aria step sister and Miss Aria's… Mr Jamie's sister, accosted Miss Aria and Alexis in the powder room earlier this evening.” So that was why she took so long and she didn't mention it. "They accuses her of sleeping around and climbing from her… ex-boyfriend’s bed into his… best friend’s. They also tried to embarrass her in front of other women, dragging up old rumors.” My first clenched. Lora. That poisonous b***h. Still so obsessed with tearing Aria down after all these years. I’ve let them fly under the radar for far too long, content to ignore their pathetic existence while I was still looking for Aria. But now that I finally have Aria back, that tolerance is gone. “What else?” I ask, my voice deceptively calm. Matteo swallows, continuing, “They painted her as a gold-digger and a slut who opens her legs for status. Miss Aria handled it well with Miss Alexis’s help but the damage to her reputation could spread if left unchecked.” I smile. “Good. They’ve shown their hands. I want Lora’s name dragged through the mud. Cut them off. Contracts, sponsors. Make sure they lose every important endorsements. Teach them what happens when you come for what’s mine. And make sure nothing is spread about Aria.” Matteo nods without hesitation. “Noted sir.” They leave, and I sink into the chair, staring at the dark city skyline through the window. The jealousy I felt earlier twists even tighter in my gut. She is on a f*****g pill. The casual way she said it “I’m already on the pill” had made me so… furious. Why the hell is she on birth control? Who has she been letting get close enough to need that kind of protection? The thought of another man touching her, being inside her, makes my blood boil with madness. She is mine. No doubt about that. She has been since the day I saw her. She accepted that fact the day she came to me. She has been since the moment she walked back into my world. No one else will ever touch her again. Not while I am breathing. I wanted her so f*****g badly tonight. Bare. Nothing between us. I needed to feel her tight heat squeezing me. Needed to bury myself so deep she would feel me for days, needed to mark her from the inside out so there would be no doubt who she belongs to. But now… I have to ease her into it. Slow down. Control the beast raging inside me. She’s been through hell, and I won’t be another monster in her memories. I’ll wait. I’ll coax her open until she’s begging for me, until she craves me as desperately as I crave her with every broken piece of her. But make no mistake—I will have her. Completely. Body, heart, and soul. And I'll destroy whoever broke her, whoever made her this way, terrified of being claimed the way she was meant to be. A dark smile curves my lips as I lean back in the chair. The hunt has officially begun. Aria is mine to protect now. Mine to heal. And mine to keep.
