Another day has come and here I was at the kitchen as I poured myself a cup of tea. I was used to being up early, preferring the quiet stillness of dawn before the rest of the manor awoke. I took a sip, letting the warmth spread through me as I tried to settle my thoughts. But as usual, Daemon had other plans.
