“Lewis… what… what are you doing here?”
He noticed me at the same time as I did. Stunned at first, he smiled at me right after and got to his feet as he approached me.
“Oh ho, Chris! I haven't heard from you in ages. What a coincidence!”
The guy in front of me was Christian Houston, my neighbor when I lived with my family. We grew up together, as close as two butt cheeks on the same ass. Being in the same class from elementary school all the way to high school, we were as thick as thieves.
Ever since he was young, his grades had been terrible. As he scored poorly on the college entrance exam, his only choice left was specialized courses. Instead of furthering his studies, he opted to work after his exam.
During his first year of working outside his hometown, he only came back once. He
