By then, it was seven in the evening. Despite the veil of darkness creeping across the sky, the farmer's market was still packed. Strangely enough, Chris took me for a walk around the farmer’s market rather than straight to the warehouse. We went in all directions, left and right; north, south, east and west, leaving me utterly confused by his antics. It was not as if we got here to buy groceries, so why were we shopping around? Besides, the market was filled with the stench of raw meat, dead fish, and vegetables. Nonetheless, since Chris mentioned nothing, I kept my doubts to myself as I trailed behind him. Only after three hours of browsing did we leave the market at around nine at night. Once back at the market entrance, Chris asked me to stay there before entering the market again.
