Laura's POV
My jaw dropped in disbelief as I stared at the Doctor. “Doc... What?”
I suddenly found myself speechless. Pregnant? I can't be pregnant! How did that happen?
“Yes, Mrs Laura. The test conducted can't be wrong. Infact I did it a few times just to confirm,” The Doctor answered and tears gathered in my eyes as my hand located my tummy. I was pregnant?
“Doc, how can you be sure about this? I mean...” I sniffled. “Did you tell my husband about this?” I asked instead, suddenly remembering Eric. I prayed he hasn't told him anything yet. Furthermore, I wouldn't want to disclose this to him until I'm ready.
“Be rest assured, Mrs Laura. I waited for you to be conscious again, you're the first person I wanted to tell. I didn't tell him anything,” He assured me, and I smiled gratefull
