Eric's POV
Pacing to and fro in my room, I couldn't stop the guilt that eventually filled me. It's been up to 10 minutes I have been pacing around, still contemplating on what to do and guilt of how I asked Laura to let me be ate me whole.
I shouldn't have shunned her. I should have listened to her and hear her out. She said she couldn't do that, and somehow, some part of me believed her. I knew she wouldn't do that to me.
“I've been so stupid.” I cursed myself, running my fingers into my hair as I paused and stared at my reflection in front of the mirror.
