As we stepped into the elevator, I noticed Laura's expression. She looked like someone who would tear up any moment but was trying to stop herself. I literally heard the murmurs from the side angles about her, but I chose to act numb. It was useless trying to clarify them anyway. And that's why I decided to throw a meeting with the press—To clarify things to them.
Until now, Tyler couldn't still track whoever had done that to me. I knew for sure it wasn't Laura, and for some reason I didn't understand why I trusted her, but I did anyway. No harm, right?
