“From what I can see on the internet, buying a house with cash is not done very often,” said Liz. “Sometimes people buy a car with cash and there were some references where people had $100,000 cash and used it to make a down payment on a house, but nothing like a million dollars. The consensus seems to be that it was just too dangerous to handle that much cash.”
“That is basically what I found too,” I said. “So if we go for it, we will need to take extra security precautions. Like hiring a security company.”
“Maybe I've watched too much Sopranos but that scares the hell out of me,” she said. “I don't think I can be around that much cash.”
