Chapter 16We stopped at a gas station for take-out coffee and put the plastic blood bags in the garbage. Then we continued down the Inter-Americana Highway past miles of pineapple plantations. There were two police checks between us and Golfito. I didn't know if they would stop us and didn't have a plan if they did. Just in case, we pulled into a small grocery store and I bought some shaving cream and a razor. Marlon took them in the washroom and shaved off his mustache.
