It felt so good to shift again. Mist had always been strong and fast, but I found myself shocked at her ability to keep up with Hunter. I had never seen a wolf like that. He was completely black with eyes that seemed to pierce through me.
We were running back towards the pack house after stopping in at Daniel and Sarah’s cottage when Sam linked us and asked if we could meet him at the clinic. Joshua wanted to see us.
Hunter ran past and led us through the building to Joshua’s room, not bothering to shift.
“Holy s**t, Mist!” Joshua and Sam both yelled when we paced in. Both of them jumped, completely shocked by my sudden growth.
Sam was holding two pairs of scrubs in his hand, so I padded over and took a set in my mouth before heading into the bathroom.
