Romance? Did he really just say that? I’m still not sure if I am mentally ready for this, but my body has apparently decided it is.
I try to contain my emotions and turn my focus back to the TV as he slides closer under the blanket. I type romance on the search bar and the first suggestion to pop up is American Pie. We both laugh a little too hard, but it cuts any of the tension that was there.
“Should we go with the second suggestion, or are we going to relive the 90’s?” I asked still laughing.
“Hey, we said first suggestion. I guess we are heading to band camp.” He replied with a smirk.
