Victoria POV

"The white wolf.."

The rouges words kept repeating in my head .

The White Wolf.

What did that even mean ?

I sat on my bed staring at my hands .

The same hands that had somehow blasted a rouge across the forest.

I still couldn't believe it , Magic wasn't supposed to exist among werewolves.

At least not like that .

A knock sounded on my bedroom door.

"Victoria?"

I recognized Emma's voice immediately.

"Come in."

The door slowly opened, and Emma stepped inside carrying two mugs of hot chocolate.

"You looked like you needed this ." Emma said as she was walking over to my bed

A small smile appeared on my face .

"Thanks."

She sat beside me on the bed .

For a few moments neither of us spoke , and finally after a few minutes Emma broke the silence.

"What happened back there ?" She asked .

I looked away .

"I don't know," I said .

"Victoria."

"I don't know!" I snapped.

Emma flinched and guilty instantly washed over me .

"I'm sorry " I said apologetically

She sighed "it's okay tori."

"No it wasn't okay , nothing about this was okay ."

The rogues knew who I was . The necklace was acting strange and somehow I had powers I couldn't explain.

A loud howl suddenly echoed through the pack & me and Emma's eyes widen.

"The Alpha."

My stomach dropped . A packing meeting .

That couldn't be good.

Everyone gathered outside the pack house , pack members stood in groups whispering among themselves.

The second i stepped into the crowd , every eye turned toward me , wonderful just what i needed.

"That's her ."

"The rouge called her the white wolf ." Someone called out.

"Do you think she's dangerous?" Someone asked .

"Maybe she's cursed ." Someone else said .

I lowered my head and ignored them , I was used to being talked about but this felt different.

The Alpha stepped forward & Silence immediately fell over the crowd .

"As many of you know," Alpha Robert began, "rouges crossed our borders today."

Murmurs began spreading through the pack .

"They specifically targeted one of our members."

My heart started racing, As everyone turned to stare o wanted the ground to swallow me whole so badly .

"The rouge referred to Victoria as the white wolf ."

More whispers .

More stares.

More judgements.

The Alpha raised his hand " Enough."

The crowd immediately quieted .

"Until we know more , nobody will spread rumors ."

Ava Blackwood rolled her eyes . of course she did .

"Why protect her?" Ava asked loudly.

The crowd gasped .

"Maybe she's the reason the rouges came here in the first place ."

Several wolves nodded , and my chest tightened as Ava smirked .

"Maybe she's putting the entire pack in danger ."

I clenched my fist , and before I could respond another voice spoke .

"That's enough , Ava."

The crowd immediately went silent .

I looked up and standing beside the Alpha was a tall boy with dark hair and blue eyes .

Ethan black wood .

The future Alpha and for some odd reason my heart skipped a beat , A strange feeling settled deep inside my chest .

Lina stirred .. interesting.

I frowned .

What does that mean ?

Nothing .

But Luna sounded suspiciously amused.

Ethan looked directly at Ava .

"We don't accuse pack members without proof."

Ava huffed and crossed her arms "whatever ."

The meeting ended shortly after and most wolves returned home . But I couldn't shake the feeling that something big was about to happen .

As I turned to leave , someone grabbed my wrist , I spun around .

Ethan .

My heart started racing again .

"Victoria ."

"Yeah?"

His eyes dropped to the moonstone necklace around my neck , for a moment he looked almost confused .

Then he asked "where did you get that necklace."

My breath caught , because nobody had ever asked me that before and for some reason .

Ethan already looked like he knew the answer.
