Our most recent discussions are further evidence that differing opinions must be set aside in the interest of a united goal, and that drastic actions must require unanimous approval.
That Damon Leiter has learned about core elements of our project was not unexpected. It may have been inevitable. However, it is in no sense disastrous. He is one man with a handful of followers, no special platform or access to either popular media or our political opponents. He still has potential to benefit our goals, but can do very little to thwart them.
We might do well to learn a lesson from literature: it was Viktor Frankenstein’s efforts to deny and thereby destroy the monster he had created that brought about his own doom.
