He congealed his arms to support his body weight so he could reach for his bow. More haunted voices passed through his ears and corrupted his thoughts up to his vision like mould. "Please... My... I couldn't feel my legs. Where is..." He collapsed. The field was coated in so much dust and smelled like a bloodstained floor as he tried to heave for air. He opened his eyes and examined the whole place. The air smelled like burning sulphur mixed with blood. The whole place's general shape was like a dome. In the middle, where he and his friends were lying was a golden tree crowned with glistening rainbow-coloured leaves majestically illuminating the whole place. The path behind them snaked its way half a mile into the mouth of the other hundred doors to perplex impudent demigods and intentionally led them to their eternal torment. The rough walls below the ridge smoothly curved to the ground, the walls above arched another hundred feet up to giant stalactites, and the furies cursing and roosting overhead with bare fangs. A guy in black robes laughed in triumph and eyed them with so much hate and disgust, as if like he won the first place in a "build your straw tower" competition out of 100 players across the country. "A Wizard..." He thought. He sauntered to their direction cursing and muttering ancient prayers where only Circe and ancient magicians who had lived thousands of years ago could understand. He pointed his wand to the boy's forehead and angled his head closer. "Look at you now." He hissed. "You look exactly like your father. Very disgusting. But I'm afraid fear will rule this world from now on. “The boy was so afraid he shut his eyes. He couldn't bear inhaling poison fumes coming out from the wizard's mouth, but he had no choice because of the wizard's tight grip. "Please..." he thought "No..." The huge drooling beast or something like a mutated dog creature started to lick his paws and stared at his master waiting for his command. The wizard raised his wand, and a small faint glow of red grew up to the size of a rugby ball. The boy closed his eyes and thought of his friends. Thunder boomed, and the dream immediately vanished and changed. A flash of forked lightning came across from different holes of the dark void-like sky, and a loud clap of thunder followed.   A curtain of winds crashed and tackled each other while a heavy rain battered the windows of houses in the dead of the oblivious night. The winds knocked down the street so fast and hard making a loud noise like crashing space crafts; the trees danced madly without breaking their trunks and without losing any of its leaves which was weird and strange. The streetlights were dead; lightning flashes were his only source of light to see the road. He doesn't know where to go. He just kept on running and gazing around. Rain poured down and drenched his whole body leaving him cold. He felt tired of running and came across the small houses lined beside the quiet street. He saw the sign made of steel at the top of the big gate that reads ''Welcome to Peaks Drive, Llanishen Cardiff, United Kingdom''. He knew it was the new street in Llanishen 4 months after when his family moved from London. Then there was a boy running amok named Tyler. Tyler McAdam Harisson is a 16-year-old boy living in Peaks Drive in Llanishen, Cardiff with his Mom and Dad. He is the only son of Helmina Harisson and Clive Harisson. He saw himself running without wearing any shoes, which was so strange because no one in the U.K. could bear walk outside raining barefooted and also no one would dare to do it because it was always freezing outside.   He was carrying something big and oval, with a little weight into it; it felt smooth and warm to the touch. Tyler guessed that it could be an egg, but he wasn't sure. He couldn't see the road, but he kept on running. A small crooked tooth-like stone blocked his way and landed faced down. That would make him feel so embarrassed if anyone saw him; luckily, no one was there. The egg flew like a coin tossed in the air, and it landed on the green grassy lawn of one of the houses. He was so glad there was no c***k in it. He stood up and continued examining what he was carrying. Tyler realised how big the egg was. It was too big for a hen or a duck. Maybe an egg of a giant hen, he thought. But something's wrong. Its colour is not the natural colour of an egg. It was scarlet in colour, and it has shiny gold rings around it, and an unknown symbol printed in the middle. γρύφων "What does it mean?" He bellowed to himself. Tyler tucked the egg in his arms and ran again. He felt weird because there's a strong affection he could feel towards the egg. It felt like it was meant to be with him, but he doesn't have any idea how and why. Tyler ran across and saw a sign above in a darkened window that reads: Tesco Express. It was so strange to see a convenience store closed because most of them were usually open 24 hours. He stayed beside the door of Tesco Express and waited for help. Silence except for the torrential rain, strong wind, and dancing trees made Tyler feel very cold and alone. He thought he might die of cold in his dreams. Tyler took a deep breath and stared at the egg. "What are you? I mean, where in the world are you from?" He realised that he was talking to a mouthless egg, and he wasn't expecting any answers. A bolt of lightning tore across the sky and treaded down to the ground and set the massive tree on blue fire. The rain and the wind stopped as it paused from a remote control. Raindrops floated in the thick air, and the twisted trees stayed in that position. A woman came out straight from the burning tree and walked straight towards Tyler. Blue flames hissed below her barefoot as she walked towards him. "Your father stole that egg for you. Raise it and don't let Dwergloud drink its blood." She was a beautiful woman, and she looked like his mum's sister. She looked like Jennifer Garner about ten years younger. The woman wore a violet, and black dress with obsidian stones darted all around her dress sleeves. Her hair was black as tar with a tinge of indigo and floating. Her eyes were green like newly planted rice fields but sad; one moment they are green as emeralds, but you might have caught a glimpse of glowing embers of purple and garnet sparking amongst the verdant green making her eyes speak both sorrow and life. Her expression was so full of concern and love, but her voice was the complete opposite, it was cold as ice. Tyler was so awestruck he forgot what to reply. "Wait..." He shook his head "Whoa... Who are you?" He blurted. "My father is a Professor. And he does not care about eggs. My father's not a farmer nor a chicken coop owner. Am I clear?" The woman stared at him, blankly examining him. "So, take this egg and please, mate..." He handed the egg. "If this was just a shitty dream made by my head, I want to wake up. Now! And who is Der.. Dwe..." "Dwergloud," said the woman coldly. "Show your mom this–'' The woman handed Tyler a letter and gave the egg back "–that was from Zeus, your mum will tell you everything and about your father." The envelope was thick and heavy, made of gold and white parchment. It was like a letter from Queen Elizabeth II. A golden wax seal was bearing a coat of arms. A man holding a Bolt, a man holding a Trident, a man wearing a Helm and a man waving a... "What's this? A stick?" Tyler grinned. “That is extremely rude. That is why I'm telling Athena not to use a wand as a symbol of Witches and Wizards. It's a Wand! W-A-N-D" she squealed. " I don't know what you're saying." Tyler backed. "I mean look, I don't even know you or what are you flame lady," said Tyler furiously. "Apologies. My name is Alyx." She spread her arms and black, and purple flames swirled her thin, pale arms. "A Lampad, the great servant of the goddess Hecate and the protector of the great son of Eros." "Okay, okay, Miss Alyx, whatever, So I'll take this egg and give this letter to my mother, and then she will tell me who I am?" He asked. "Do you think it's an easy stuff to do?" Said Tyler, without even noticing his tone, went higher. "Needless to say, that I am dreaming!"Alyx stared at Tyler with a blank face. She closed her palm and tucked her arms inside her sleeves. With the blink of an eye, a vast blue flame swallowed her and vanished. Leaving Tyler alone. Lightning crackled, and Tyler sat bolt upright shivering in his bed, imagining that he's still wet. There was no storm, no egg, no parchment letter, no everything. Morning sunlight filtered through his bedroom window. Common lime trees swayed gently in the breeze in the cold spring sunshine. "No storm. Just..." he paused. "just a dream." He calmly said. "Pretend it never happened. Okay? Pretend." But he was so startled and anxious about his dream for about 20 seconds and swore "FINE! What a barmy. I was always excited to taste my morning breakfast and do unhealthy things in P.E. class every morning, except weekends, and this dream was about to ruin my whole day!" He exclaimed, "And thanks to that creepy flame woman." He felt under his pillow. His fingers explored below and felt something rough. For a moment, he never felt so damned and in trouble for the first time in his life. He prayed and hoped he was still dreaming. Chills ran down his spine as long as he snatched away the thing under his pillow. He gulped and stopped breathing. A letter that was given to him from the flame lady. Tyler thought that was enough, but he was afraid that the egg was under his bed too. "Brilliant." He said sarcastically. He curiously looked under his bed, and he was right about it. The egg, it was under his bed, waiting for him to wake. He picked up the egg and let it sat on his bed and stared at it. He couldn't believe that his dream was a reality. The sunlight made the egg look like a golden disco ball because of its glittery golden rings. He doesn't know what to do with the egg nor the letter. But in his mind, he knew exactly what to do. Do what the flame woman said and enjoy life. There was a knock on his bedroom door. "Tyler honey? Breakfast's ready! We're going to get Amber at the airport. Prepare your things!"  Tyler hid the egg under his bed and the letter inside his cabinet. "We'll face you later," Tyler said. Sunday. He thought. No school today. This day is going to be so much fun. And wicked.   "Coming!" Tyler changed his clothes as quickly as he could. And bolted straight to his door and went to the dining table.    catch his breath. He congealed his arms to support his body weight so he could reach for his bow. More haunted voices passed through his ears and corrupted his thoughts up to his vision like mould. "Please... My...
