The guardians patiently waited for Arella to give them further instructions, and suddenly, Ariel, Luna, Else, and Haven appeared before Ashta, Roman, Riah, and Ray.
“Your Fairy Guardians will accompany you for guidance and protection. Protect each other,” said Arella, and the guardians nodded.
The queen’s face turned toward Ray, and he looked up at her.
“You must remember to assure Riah that it isn’t her fault. You will know when the time comes,” she said, and Ray bowed his head.
“Now, Guardians of Earth, you may start your journey.”
Ray and Haven bowed to the queen and faced the door. The rusted metal door slid open, revealing a shimmering shield. Ray looked at Riah one last time, and then he and the little green fairy stepped through the doorway.
