Bestol and Mertheis walked out of the portal and into the Nexus. Suspiciously, they looked around and saw that the bright purple and black energy had attached itself to the band of gold and white power. It looked as though there was more dark energy than there was light.
Bestol and Mertheis looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders, and then walked over to the Earth World Realm door. The doorway opened, and they could see the world behind the transparent, shimmering shield. Happily, they smiled at each other, and then they walked into the doorway.
