Walden Pond, surrounded by Walden Woods is a naturally beautiful area which inspired Henry David Thoreau to write many books: Walden, among others. He lived there between 1845 and 1847. He"s widely acclaimed as one of the grandfathers of the modern ecological movement to preserve beautiful places. Jane thought it was the perfect place to meet the other Jane Walden. What she didn"t know was how complicated it was to get inside the park.
