64: Ryann Ryann There was no way of knowing where she was going, so Ryann trusted that voice inside. She climbed. She stumbled. She ran. Her soft shoes didn’t clomp, but her soles ached, and a blister was forming on her right heel. At one point she crawled, taking a tiny passage that tasted of fresh air. She emerged in a large cavern with three exits. The furthest of these held an animal trace, a rodent of some kind. Of course, rodents could burrow, and could squeeze through tight gaps.
