54: Piran Piran Ryann and the guard disappeared from view for far too long. Piran tried to access audio feeds, but there were none close enough. The only thing he heard was the second guard, the one facing the entrance, shuffling about. He turned once, and an arm waved from the edge of the field of view. Must’ve been his colleague telling him to get back to watching the door. Then the older guard staggered, in the top left corner of the feed. Ryann followed, punching him in the head. She held something. Didn’t look like a normal weapon, but she used it as one. Hit him again and again. Even when he was down. Piran counted ten strikes. He didn’t breathe until she stopped. But the other guard had noticed, raised his weapon. The g*n‌—‌Preben? Looked like it‌—‌shook. Young kid, nervous.
