She put her hands around her mother’s neck, “Mom, I am so sorry.” Palak, “you know, I get hurt when you talk to me like this.”
On the other side, Dipika, another school friend of Deepak had started visiting his house soon after Palak left. She had come to Deepak to invite him for a gettogether which was being arranged by his old friends.
Deepak didn’t want to go to all these parties. He told his mother, “you know, all happiness of my life had gone with Palak.” His mother told, “you are responsible for what you have done.”
Kartama requested Dipika to stay in their house. But Deepak was ignorant of all this. He was not at all interested in talking with another girl. He had developed a perspective after Palak had left him, that girls come to his life and destroy it.
Dipika overheard their conversation, “do you have any problem in joining the reunion party?” Deepak, “I don’t want to have any conversation regarding this.” Dipika, “why are you ignoring me?” hearing this statement, he remembered that it was the same line that he had told to Palak when they first met.
He wiped the tears and went away from there. Dipika noticed it. She wondered, “have I said something wrong?” from the school days, Dipika liked Deepak but she could never reveal her feelings to him.
