“Where have you been?” Maddie asked as soon as I got inside the Omega House.
She ran towards me and immediately encircled her arms with mine. “I was worried when I saw you running away after the ceremony.”
“I’m fine, Maddie,” I just said and walked towards my room.
I had to prepare for work. I didn’t want to not do anything after Miranda saw me in the Andreyev mansion.
Maddie frowned and pouted. “But where were you? I came here first thing in the morning but you weren’t here.”
I opened the door to my small room and got inside. I took some towels and switched shoes.
“I had to… go somewhere early,” I just said, not ready to share what has happened.
I was still confused with everything. And I didn’t want to drag Maddie into it.
After I told Sebastian that I saw some red eyes last
