Chapter Two
“So...is it a hot date?” Markey insisted after his sister had been silent for a few minutes.
“Uhmm...yes...its Leo Cadman. Remember him? He brought me home one night and you were still up,” Chante reminded him.
“Oooh... the rock star? He’s cool,” Markey replied, remembering.
“He’s not a rock star silly. He’s an ER doctor.” Chante corrected him.
Chante hadn’t told her brother that she had been seeing Leo for some time now. After the late dinner, she wasn’t expecting to see him again even if both worked in the same hospital. She didn’t want to raise her expectations and be disappointed again. But during that particular night, Leo proved to be a good listener.
