Chapter 10: The Unexpected Ally

The figure introduced himself as Alex, a collector of rare and unusual items. He claimed to have knowledge about the Super Shoes and offered to help us.

Mom was skeptical, but I sensed that Alex might be genuine. We decided to trust him, at least for now.

Alex led us to a hidden underground bunker, filled with strange artifacts and books. He showed us ancient texts that mentioned the Super Shoes, describing their power and the risks they posed.

"This is incredible," Mom said, her eyes wide with wonder. "But how do we stop the shoes' influence?"

We exchanged a look, hopeful. Maybe Alex was the key to saving Dad.
