Mia suddenly cleared her throat in a not-so-discreet way and my head snapped back to her to see her pointedly gazing at me.
"Are you not going to introduce us to your friend, Cheryl." she bared her teeth at me in a toothy smile.
I bit back my smile. "Oh, right," I turned back to Luke and gestured to my crazy friends. "Luke, meet my friends, Mia and Ellie."
Mia thrust her hand forward with so much enthusiasm, a blinding smile on her face. "Hi, I'm Mia," she batted her lashes, laying it on thick.
Ever the gentleman, Luke clasped her hand lightly. "Luke. Nice to meet you."
Ellie just nodded at him and looked on.
He clapped his hands together and gazed down at me. "So, I was wondering if you would like to take coffee with me sometime later."
