When I woke up, my whole head was stinging, and I felt a strange burning in my arm, as if someone had injected me with something, my body jolting against rough ropes wasn't helping me not throw up. Panic surged through me, as I squirmed, and looked around, but the bindings only tightened with each movement, so I remained still.

I saw Paige's Lycan ahead of me, but I was being carried effortlessly by a massive Lycan, his muscles rippling beneath thick brown fur.
