Chapter 15

"Finally, peace...."

Stella threw her body on the couch to relax, after the college hours.

"Hey...Stella!" (Ed)

"No... don't even think about it!"

Stella answered him even before he had said the words.

"But why? It will be fun... don't you feel bored by staring at these walls?"

"No not at all, I love these walls, and i won't go to that stupid party of yours as your partner..."

"How did you know that I was gonna ask for that?"

Ed said with a surprised face when he found out that Stella knew his plans.

"Either way i won't go, I want to sleep.."

"Okay fine, I will ask Some girls to accompany me, we will share the delicious birthday treat amongst our selves..."

Ed knew how big fan of food Stella was so her purposefully said that.

"Did you mention food..."

"You are coming right..."

"Okay but don't cause trouble there."

"Yes!!... yes ....I love you for this...yahooo."

Like a small child Ed hopped around in the room in excitement.

For the party Stella had to dress like a girl and she was very happy about that,

The party was at one of the biggest hotels of the city, and when they arrived the hall was already filled with couples dancing with the beat...

Lily stood on the stair top looking at the arriving guests and receiving gifts from them, Ed grabbed Stella from her arm and dragged her towards Lily.

"Ed...you came?"

Just when Lily's eyes fell on Ed, her lips involuntarily bloomed into a beautiful smile,

'Haah...you cheat...I wish I knew why you brought me here with you...'

"Here, I have something for you..." Ed had the brightest smile on his face.

"Thank you, but there was no need for this, your presence is more than enough"

I couldn't take the to and fro flirting anymore, and I also wanted to teach Ed a lesson for using me as a shield.

"Hi...Lily? Right.."

"Who are..."

"Oh she ...she is my..."

Before Ed could say any further and make Lily's expression even more sour.

"Sister...I am his Sister, hope you don't mind, that I attend the party..."

"Absolutely not...I am so happy to meet you..." her expression from before was now changed into a happy one when she found out my relation with Ed.

"Mmm...I you don't mind can I go and eat something and you..."

I took Ed's hand and gave it in to Lily's.

"And until then, why don't you dance together?..."

I grinned at Ed.

"REALLY?"

I didn't know Lily would be so happy at this gesture, that she would hug me all of a sudden.

"Yeah sure, he is all yours..."

I left the two lovey doves couple, I mean just the lovey doves Lily because , Ed was glaring dagger at me, but It was just revenge of his actions.

Stella walked towards the food corner and got herself a bunch of treats before heading out to get some fresh air.

It was then she heard something she must not have heard.

"How can you be so useless... Don't you feel ashamed of your life?"

A women voice spoke , the voice was coming from the dark part of the garden.

"Do you know? If you keep on acting like that, the bastard child will become the heir of the company..."

"Mom...he is my brother..."

SLAP!!!...

"He is a bastard, not your brother. I want you to drag him down and walk all over him to get the company in your name, it's about time that old hag give his shares off to his heir..."

"Start acting like a grown up..."

"Mom...please, I don't want the company...why are you..."

"Shut up...I know the world more then you do, now hurry back home and start planning your strategy..."

A dark shadow walked out of the beautifully trimmed trees.

'Fuuu!!...that was harsh...'

Stella munched on the blue macaron in her hand,and waited for the victim to come out. But he didn't.

'Should I check on him?'

Stella walked over to the bushes , with the plate filled with sweets in her hand. Stella slowly approached the bush and peeked.

There was a young guy sitting on the ground hopelessly hanging his head.

Stella didn't know him but she knew he was a good person, from the conversation she had overheard. The lady seemed to be a jealous mom from any novel who wanted to break off the unity of the two brothers, and ending up in ruining her son's entire life, Stella felt like speaking to him so she slowly approached him and kneeled on the slightly wet grass, which made her knees feel sudden chills.

"Here have some, it helps a lot when you are sad."

Stella didn't know how to start the conversation so she simply offered him her snacks.

The guy was taken aback by the sudden stimulus and he looked up at her,

Under the full moon, his face was partially visible, but still he looked extremely handsome, and the shocked expression added to his beauty a cute touch.

"I am sorry for intruding like this but, I just wanted to say that..."

He still was sitting there Petrified.

"Don't listen to her under any circumstances, The temporary gains will lead you to an empty tomorrow."

Stella suddenly got a call, so she placed the plate on the ground and picked up the call.

"What happened?" (Stella)

"Stella I want you to come outside, I have something to show you..." (Al)

"Okay I'll be right there..."

Stella placed the phone in her bag and took a last glance at the guy who's expression had softened a bit, now.

"Be sure to eat it..."

Stella got up and was just about to leave when she felt a sudden tug on her arm, Stella lost her balance because the guy was holding onto her hand. And she fell right into his arms.

Stella was now in the embrace of an unknown guy, the situation required drastic measures and Stella was about to push him away when she heard the guy cry.

"Thank you..." he whispered it in her ear and , hugged her tightly one last time before letting go.

Stella was petrified, not because she was hugged by a guy, but because she had seen an all grown up guy cry, he looked so cute that Stella was about to pinch his cheeks but she had to go.

Stella ran towards the exit.

Just outside the hotel doors, I saw Al's car parked, and not too far away from that Al stood, woth his shirt covered in blood.

My heart skipped a beat at the sight of his bloody shirt.

"What happened?"

"Are you hurt?"

"Who did this to you?"

Stella was worried sick and asked him numerous questions in a go.

"Calm down...Calm down "

"I am alright, you see...." he opened his arms like a mighty eagle so I could inspect him.

"I was just out attending Leo's call, but then I saw some people dragging a girl into an alley, so I followed them and then I saw they were putting that woman into van so I fought them , I took her and didn't know what to do so I called you here"

"A girl you say? Where is she ?"

Al pointed at the car back seat.

"But are you sure you are not hurt...right"

" I swear, it's the blood of the guys I beat up" Al grinned

"Don't be so happy about that."

"Don't you ever do that again ok?" I said

Ed joined us shortly and we had to explain the situation to him as well.

"Ok but, who is she and how will we know we're to take her?"Ed said with a curious look

"Where did you find the woman Al?" I asked

"There in the small alley" he pointed towards a dark street

"Ok let's go"

"Here it is, I found her here..."

We started looking for something that would give us a clue about her identity, but who knew we found something unexpected there...

As I turned on my flash light to look for the ladies belonging but I found a whole human there to be more accurate a man

"Wow what is happening today, did we hit a jackpot or something?"

Ed said in excitement at the sight of the guy lying across the dump.

But the smile disappeared and he said.

"no but we have no use of human , if there was money that would have been nice"

We ignored him for a while.

"Al are you sure you saw the men taking only the woman into the alley" I asked him

"I don't know about him but at the time i turned cut the call, I saw her being dragged into the alley" Al explained

"What is going on here something is really not right...but let's take them from here before the men get back" I said ,

"Ed you take him to the Hotel, and ask the doctor to visit him, I will take the girl to the mansion..."

When the girl was safely in the guest room, Stella took a close look at her muddle face, she was a beautiful girl. But her clothes were torn from a few places, it looked inappropriate, so Stella asked a maid to bring her some clothes.

The girl was wounded around her leg and arm, so he tended to he wounds, after tidying her up Stella went back to her room to get some sleep herself.

That night Stella slept peacefully for no reason, the next morning was a holiday so she woke up late, She lazily brushed her teeth and went into the kitchen to make herself breakfast. Just like the usual Sunday, Stella was roaming around in her, pink Unicorn Pajamas, when suddenly she heard a scream coming from the guest room.

"Oh shoot...how did I forget about her?..."
