Chapter 64: Alone
Emmry I needed to get out of here. That’s what I finally decided. Hearing Aaron’s voice downstairs with Marine in hushed tones worried me. There was something off about the two of them that I just couldn’t put my finger on and I didn’t want to stick around to really find out. I needed to get out of her and fast. Knowing Aaron he never took the keys out of his cars. It was the perks of living in a small community but it was also how I had gotten kidn*pped and taken in a random car in the first place. I opened the door and bit my lip. All I needed to do was make it to the side staircase that led to the back door. If I could make it out that door they wouldn’t know I was gone until they heard the car starting and at that point I would be safe. Right? I couldn’t second guess myself at this
