“Okay, I’ll leave for now. But we will talk soon,” Kamden said and leaned down to kiss
me on the lips. I turned my head, and his lips landed on my cheek. Kamden looked
brokenhearted, and I wanted to apologize, but my emotions were all over the place.
“Arianna, we’ll be back tomorrow,” Essence and Reece said, walking out behind
Kamden.
It left me with the doctor and my family.
“Did the crash affect my baby?” I asked.
“No, the baby is strong. You’re both lucky,” he replied.
