Wolf Killer Jacob sat drinking in the warmth of his fire when he felt the eyes. He was good at that, feeling when something was near, watching. His hand clutched his weapon, its silver reflecting moonlight and firelight together in a dancing combination. The creature had been stalking him and he was ready. It would only be a matter of time.
