10I wake up, bathed in the cold sweat of a terrifying dream. It was about my son Oliver, second year studying science at University, restless and moody. In my dream he’s standing all alone, clothes hanging from his thin body, feeling the burden of life, caught in the same old questions. Should I be planning for my future? Why do I always worry? Do other people like me? How can I make money? What should I be doing? Why can’t I stop worrying? In that instant, without warning, an enemy sneaks up from behind and slices the top off his head. The force somersaults his body through the air, over and over as he falls slowly to the ground, totally dead, just like that – his life over. I wake up looking death straight in the face. His death was unpredictable. Nothing in life could have saved him. N
