"Alright, that's fine." I was about to end the call when a sudden impulse seized me. "Do you want to have lunch together tomorrow?"
There was a brief pause on the other end of the line. My heart hammered against my ribs as I waited for Cassius's response.
"Sure," he finally said, his deep voice sending a pleasant shiver down my spine.
My heart soared with joy, but I forced myself to remain calm. "See you tomorrow then."
