(Olivia's POV)
"By the way, haven't asked you yet," Cassius asked gently, "how are you and Graham communicating? Do you need any help?"
"Graham signed the dissolution agreement readily," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady. "We'll finalize everything at the Northern Territory Registration Office once he's discharged."
"Good." There was satisfaction in his tone. "When will that be?"
"About a week, according to the doctors." I paused at a red light, staring at the signed papers on my passenger seat. "Cassius, you seem very concerned about when I'll be... unmated again."
The words slipped out before I could stop them. Heat rushed to my cheeks as I realized how that sounded.
"I am concerned," he said simply. "Is that wrong?"
