"The wounds aren't that bad? Really?" Cassius Shadowcrest's voice hardened over the phone. "Do you want me to send Shadowcrest Pack members over to find you now?"
"That's really not necessary," I insisted, glancing down at the thin line of blood on my arm. "It's just a small cut from the silver-tipped scissors. Nothing some moonlight herb salve and a bandage won't fix."
"Silver wounds heal slower for our kind," Cassius reminded me, his tone leaving no room for argument. "Where exactly are you now?"
I sighed, looking around my design studio. "I'm still at Moonlight Designs headquarters. The bleeding has already stopped."
