(Olivia's POV)
My face burned with embarrassment as the memory of possibly kissing Cassius Shadowcrest flashed through my mind again. Had I really been so forward? The thought made me want to sink through the floor of this rooftop café.
"You look troubled," Cassius observed, his silver eyes studying me with amusement. "Still worried about your behavior that night?"
I nodded, unable to form words. How could I ask if I had actually kissed the most powerful Alpha in the Northern Territory?
"Whatever happened," he said, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, "I promise your secret is safe with me."
