Ava POV
A light gasp escaped my lips.
“I shouldn't have let her explain everything to me. ” I thought and wiped my tears.
“The news was too heavy for my mom and me. It took a toll on Lucky also but my stepmom was angry my dad had to die because my younger brother said he was bored. My mom was hospitalized but she couldn't make it. They passed away that night. The shock was just too heavy. I cried, I cried because I know that was the end. I was left alone. ” She paused and burst into tears.
“This is the reason why I don't want to say my past Ava! It's too broken and it hurts. The memories, everything happened so fast. ” She yelled out in pain, my hands trembling as I made movements to pull her closer to myself.
