The morning sun came in through the open curtains. A couple who just got married yesterday was curled under the blanket without wearing any clothes. How many times have they done it? That is a secret.
She blinked her eyes and looked up at the ceiling. Then she felt a warm breath on her shoulder. She turned to her right and saw Draven with wide eyes. Then she remembered what she and Draven had done. Oh, my God, Moon Goddess. Why did she forget? Then she realized Draven's strong hands were on her stomach. She looks down bashfully. She is naked!
"Uh, Charis, good morning. You're not a virgin anymore." Aria's voice echoed in Charis' head. Charis's wolf lets out a loose laugh.
Charis sighs. "Shut up, Aria." Her cheeks were red, embarrassed. She was confused. If she moved Draven's hand from her stomach, would Draven wake up? She wants to go to the bathroom before Draven wakes up! Because she was so shy.
Draven's slow movements made Charis' body stiffen. She decided to close her eyes, pretending to be asleep. Her heart was beating fast. Aria laughed again at Charis's embarrassing behavior towards her husband, their mate. Charis snorted, annoyed because Aria liked to scoff at her.
Draven's gray eyes opened, and he smiled, looking at Charis's face from the side. Is his wife still sleeping? Then he smoothed Charis's messy dark blond hair.
"Wow, you didn't waste any time last night! Have you ever had s*x before?" Sam's voice echoed in Draven's mind, who wasn't used to the wolf's presence.
"That doesn't concern you." Draven hiss. His wolf was very curious about his past life as a human. He was lazy to remember his past, which was too monotonous.
Draven frowned as he realized something odd about Charis. He looked into his wife's eyes, and then he smiled amusedly. "Good morning, my wife, my mate." He kissed her cheek gently. "Aren't you tired of pretending to sleep? Until when will you close your eyes? I'm curious." Draven teased with a tilt of his lips.
Charis gave up. She opened her eyes, embarrassed that her face was so close to Draven's. Her eyes looked the other way. "Good morning, my husband." Her voice was low, barely audible. Fortunately, they were werewolves who were gifted with keen hearing.
Draven laughs quietly. "My face is here, not there." He turned around, Charis's face towards him. His gray eyes lock on her blue ones.
Charis blushed fiercely. "I know. I'm ashamed of you."
Draven raises his brows. "Why?"
"I'm just embarrassed." Charis sat up, and she had to go to the bathroom immediately. "I want to go to the bathroom." She picked up the nightgown that was lying on the floor. She hastily put on the dress.
Draven lets out a loose laugh. Charis is so funny. "Why are you like that? I've seen and explored all parts of your body."
Charis glared at Draven with both cheeks red. "Draven!"
"Why? Am I wrong?" Draven tilt of his lips.
Charis went running to the bathroom right away. Draven chuckled.

Charis had finished taking a shower. She was standing in front of her wardrobe mirror. She was looking at the tiny crescent moon tattoo on her neck, where Draven had marked it. That means she and Draven are already tied together. She touched the beautiful tattoo with her finger. Did the other werewolves feel the same way? Should she ask Griselda?
"What are you looking at?" Draven was still wearing a black towel robe as he stood behind Charis. He saw Charis in the reflection of the mirror.
"A tattoo is signing we are mate." Draven was amazed when Charis turned around and showed him the tattoo.
"Wow, I only stuck my fangs in here last night." Draven touched off the tattoo of a crescent moon, then kissed it. "So beautiful."
Charis's breath caught. She stepped back because she was afraid Draven would kiss the rest of her. Because of the first night, her body still felt a little weak.
Draven chuckled. Charis's defense attitude towards him was funny in his eyes. "I wouldn't do it in the morning or the afternoon."
Charis rolls her eyes. "No need to explain."
Draven laughed.

Before he got married, Draven did a ritual to turn into a werewolf. He did this so that his children and Charis would be pure wolves and not have any human blood in them.
As promised to her father and as planned, Charis gave the pack's leadership to her mate after they married. Even though many disagreed with Charis's quick decision, the fact that Draven used to be human-made, the pack leaders and members doubted Draven. Can Draven lead the Garnet Pack? Is it okay for the new werewolf, Draven, to lead the pack? Can they trust Draven?
But Charis didn't change her mind. During this time, she didn't care that people didn't believe in her, and she kept moving forward, keeping her leadership position. Proving to everyone that even though she's a woman, she deserves to be a leader. Even though, to this day, no one thinks of her as a leader. They just pretended to respect her, especially the higher-ups of the pack.
"Draven, are you sure?" Charis straightened the black suit Draven was wearing.
Charis feels guilty. "If you're not ready, we'll postpone the coronation."
Draven closes his eyes. He was nervous and worried, of course. He will be a leader of the Garnet Pack, an Alpha. Honestly, he's not quite ready to be a husband. He had never once thought about getting married. But in less than two weeks, he met Charis and came here. At this time, he not only became a werewolf, but he also became a husband. Does he deserve to be Charis's husband? Why is he only thinking about it now?
He doubt if he could be a good husband for Charis. How about being a leader? Is he worthy? Will he be able to handle this hard job? Draven closes his eyes. Calm his racing heart.
Draven shook his head and reached out to grab Charis by the shoulder. He looked at Charis' blue eyes with his gray eyes. "Don't delay. Do it right now. I'm all set." For a long time, Charis had faced the scorn and contempt of people who did not approve of Charis as a leader. Now that he was going to take the place of Charis, he was ready to face all of the consequences that would come his way.
"Are you sure?" Charis worries.
"Yes. I'm completely sure." Draven nods.
They walked towards the door, and Draven opened the door. There was Maddison, Griselda, and Oryn waiting for them.
"Are you ready, Alpha?" Oryn smiled at Draven.
"Yes, I'm ready." Draven nods.
The hall was again full of leaders and pack members who wanted to see Draven become Alpha. Some look like they don't like it or don't believe it.
"Thank you for being here for this important event. The future of the Garnet Pack will depend on who becomes the Alpha. After Alpha Callum's death a year ago, we are led by Alpha Callum's daughter, Luna Charis Swinton." Nolan, the historian and included in the higher-ups' pack, announced Draven's coronation. "Over the past year, Luna Charis has done a great job leading the Garnet Pack and carrying out all the rules that the late Alpha Callum set up. Everyone feels it." Nolan spoke on the podium, his eyes roaming the hall.
"Luna Charis has found her mate. Yesterday, they got married, and Luna Charis didn't want to waste any time. Today, Luna Charis will hand over the leadership to her husband, Draven Hoover." Draven and Charis are standing next to Nolan.
Before she spoke, Charis took a deep breath. "I promised to give up my leadership position once I found my mate." She took a badge in the shape of a dark red garnet stone, the symbol of the Garnet Pack, off her chest. She looked Draven straight in the eyes. "Are you ready to be an Alpha Garnet Pack?"
"Yes. I am very ready." Draven said firmly.
"Promise that you'll be serious about your responsibilities as Alpha, and don't let us down as submissive pack members," Charis wanted to cry. She wasn't sad that she gave her position to Draven, but she was happy that she could finally make sure that her mate became Alpha.
Draven said, "Yes, I promise from the bottom of my heart, and I have also made a promise to the Moon Goddess."
Charis pinned the garnet badge to the coat of Draven's chest. She had a happy smile.
Draven smiled. He was officially an Alpha Garnet Pack.
"From today onwards, because Alpha Draven's name is Draven Hoover. For the foreseeable future, Alpha Garnet Pack's offspring will be called Hoover." Nolan says that Draven has officially become Alpha.
Many doubt and don't believe in Draven, but the higher-ups and pack members applauded.
Oryn, Madison, and Griselda, who sat in the front, were all smiling happily. They stood up and applauded.
"Congratulations, My Alpha!" Charis a genuine smile.
"My Luna, please guide me and always be by my side. Because I'll need you forever." The guests applauded as Draven kissed Charis softly on the lips.
