Episode 11: The Girl Who Rewrote Time

429 Words
The blank space stretched endlessly around Lyra. No sound. No sky. No weight. Just the pen in her hand… and the power of free will humming beneath her skin. “This is your canvas,” the voice of her older self echoed in her mind. “Here, there is no fate. Only what you choose.” Lyra took a breath—and began to write. The first stroke wasn't a word. It was forgiveness. , Suddenly, a world began to form around her. A mountain village where no war had ever come. A city of light, where memories were shared instead of feared. A version of herself... without pain. But the moment she imagined Kael, the canvas flickered. > “You're still bound,” whispered the voice. “Until you decide what to do with him.” , Back in the waking world, Lyra opened her eyes. It was morning. Her phone buzzed. Message from unknown contact: "We need to talk. Before they come for you." —K Her heart skipped. Kael. But which Kael? , She met him at the abandoned train station just outside town. Mist clung to the rails. Kael stood there—silent. Not in black. Not in silver. But white. Peaceful. “I'm not the Kael you remember,” he said. “And I'm not the one who hurt you.” Lyra nodded. “You're the one born after the fracture.” He smiled. “You fixed it. You created me.” , They walked along the broken tracks. Kael told her about a place beyond timelines — The Observatory — where beings called Watchers observed every thread of time, but never interfered. Till now. “They've seen what you're becoming,” Kael said. “They're afraid.” “Afraid of what?” she asked. “That you might do the impossible.” , Suddenly—a shadow passed overhead. A circular gate opened in the sky. And descending from it... Three hooded beings in gold robes. Their faces were made of moving clocks. Their voices were in perfect unison. > "LYRA MONROE. You have violated the balance." Kael stepped in front of her. “She's done nothing wrong.” > "She created. That is forbidden." Lyra raised her hand. The world around them froze. She stepped forward. > "I remember all the endings. Now I choose the beginning." The Watchers raised their staff. “You must be judged.” , Lyra smiled. And for the first time in all her lives— >She didn't run. , 📘 To be continued in Episode 12…
