Gabe fixed Lilly's car for her, or rather paid someone to do it. That was four days ago. Now, they arrive at school separately, just like before. He bullies her relentlessly, but their "tutoring" sessions are so thick with tension that they end up making out in the end. No actual work has been done, yet Gabe's grades have improved.
The two lovers have mere weeks left until the end of highschool, but they still have to keep this a secret. If it got out to his rivals, Lilly could be in danger. Gabe is so soft and gentle with her since he saw the marks from her dad, and it's driving her crazy. She sees how aggressive he is with his work and that makes her wish he'd be at least a little rough with her.
"Well, (laughs) I'd say you're getting the hang of it. Just don't point it at me again. Never at me." Gabe wraps his arm around Lilly's waist and pulls her in for a kiss after their target practice.
Lilly stops to admire the view of the trees and the cabin. "Do you ever think we can just be? Or will whatever this is have to be a secret forever?"
Gabe brushes a thumb over her split lip. "If people I do business with find out about us, they'll do worse than the girl you got into a fight with." His thumb slips inside her mouth and she suckles on it for a moment before he pulls it out.
His eyes look full of desire and something else, something dark.
"Don't do that." He warns.
"Why not? I only fought that girl because she thought she could "lay claim" to you or something." Lilly steps out of his hold, pistol still pointed at the ground in her left hand.
Her heart is beating fast, way too fast. She can feel the anger bubbling to the surface, like it has been for days at this point.
"Lil, calm down." Gabe warns, reaching for the firearm.
Lilly swipes her hand away, feeling powerful with it in her grip and not wanting that power to go away.
"No! She doesn't get to say you're hers when you belong here, with ME! It's eating away at me that I can't have my hands all over you in public! Not to mention, you're so....GENTLE with me when we're alone, but I see you do unspeakable things to people. I doctor your wounds when you get cut up in certain situations!" She glances at his hip where she stitched him up two nights ago from a knife fight.
Without thinking, she reaches out and slaps the freshly stitched wound. Gabe winces and then grabs her shoulders and slams her against the tree they're standing near.
"You want rough?! Huh?!" He's fuming, his hands pressing Lilly into the tree so hard that the bark is hurting her skin through her thin tank top.
"Gabe!" She starts to protest, but he cuts her off with an aggressive, and slightly possessive kiss.
His hands move to the back of her thighs, lifting her up. She wraps her legs around his waist. He bites her tongue, mid-kiss, earning a moan from Lilly.
His hands slide under her shorts, gripping her ass, and she throws her arms around his shoulders, pistol still dangling in her hand. She thinks it through well enough to push the safety button while his mouth moves to her neck.
He bites down, hard and tightens his grip, bruising her skin.
"You're bruising me..." She mutters, breathless.
"I thought you liked it rough. Besides, it's under your clothes." He nips at her collar bone.
One of his hands slides to the front of her panties, feeling how wet they are. "Let's get something straight. You belong to me, not the other way around."
"Uh-huh." Lilly struggles to get out the smallest response.
"What?" His hand moves to her thigh, causing her to whimper from it no longer being where she wants it.
"Yes, sir." She corrects herself, gasping when his response is to suck on the top of her breast , leaving a hickey and shove his fingers inside her.
She grips his hair with her free hand and bucks against him.
"Not yet, Sweetie. I want you to work for it." He stops altogether, moving away and setting her feet back on the ground.
With a light peck on the lips, Gabe grabs the pistol from her and shoves it into his waistband. They head towards his car so he can take her back to his house where her car is parked.
"Don't pull that s**t again. I might not be able to stop if you do." Just as he says this, his phone rings.
"Yeah?"
Lilly listens to the commotion on the other side of the call.
"Well, I can't right now. I'm in the middle of something!" His tone is growing frustrated.
"Alright! I'll be there soon!" His brows are furrowed as he slams the phone down on the center console.
"Where we goin'?" Lilly asks, a little too eagerly.
"You're staying in the car. I have to...knock some heads, so to speak." The ride is filled with the sound of the radio as they travel to another town nearby.
Gabe stops the car in front of a small, Italian restaurant. A large man comes out of the door, ducking to get through the small frame. Lilly can hear a muffled conversation between Gabe and the large man. Suddenly, another man, pulls her door open, expecting her to get out.
"Uh, Gabe?" She warily looks in his direction.
"Leave her alone. She has nothing to do with this." He steps towards the car, placing himself between her and the man holding the door.
"Oh, she does. The way you shield her, tells me that she's very important."
"She's just a high school girl. Leave her. She doesn't need to be included." Gabe's hand is clenched into a fist at his side.
"The marks on her neck and chest say otherwise." The man reaches around Gabe and grabs her wrist, pulling her from the car.
Lilly grips Gabe's forearm, clinging to him. Not the best idea, but she's scared.
"He's waiting for you, inside." The large man says, gesturing for Gabe and Lilly to go inside.
They walk through the restaurant, to a door in the back of the building. It has a sign that says, "restricted access." When the door is opened, a large room with floor to ceiling bookcases, a bar, and a plump man sitting at a table in the corner are easily visible.
Gabe whispers to Lilly, "Stick to me like glue."
She squeezes his arm in response, terrified to even speak.
"Glad you could make it. We need to talk." The plump man snaps his fingers and points at the chairs in front of him for them to sit down.
"What's going on? My people have been working with yours. There haven't been any issues." Gabe states, while gripping Lilly's thigh under the table like she could be pulled away from him at any moment.
Lilly has never seen him scared. He's definitely holding back around this man.
"Sir, we were just on the way to my car. I really have nothing to do with this. Is there any way that I can sit out in the car. I think it would be less tense in here if I were outside." Lilly flashes a thousand-watt smile in the direction of "Mr. Plump."
"Oh, no. We can't allow that." He leans forward, keeping eye contact. "You are very valuable, young lady. We want to keep you right here where we can see you." The man smirks when he sees Gabe tense up at the insinuation that Lilly would leak any information or do anything stupid.
