His heart jumped everytime he looked at her...centuries would pass by and he would always be fascinated by this woman's eyes. She had long fallen asleep, wrapped inside his arms. He preferred her at peace. They had ended their day the way it usually tended to end, speaking of their daughter and who what had become of her. Belial always tended to his amor as best he could. But whenever it came about their daughter, his Irene would always sound mournful. She had hated him in the beginning, when hed taken her. That day he had sacrificed his daughter for his amor. She hadnt died...but she would never know her parents. That was his decision. Irene had been close to death, she hadnt been able to object or agree. He had taken her away for her own survival.  -flashback- The baby had been born for all of two minutes. Her mother's body starting to hemorrhage had taken away from her the ability to be hold her child, even once. The moment Irene's hand went limp, he had felt his own soul burn. Belial had been the king of hell... he had seen suffering. He had seen his brothers cast from heaven. He had even had the misfortune of killing his own brother, Ramiel. He had known much pain in his existence. But seeing this woman he had loved for only a few years...how her soul would be cast into heaven, away from his reach for the rest of eternity. He could not bear it. With a sudden rage, he threw out the doctors and nurses with only a thought. He held his Irene in his arms tightly. Without looking at his daughter in the incubator next to Irene's hospital bed, he left...taking his amor to the demon realm.  Taking her home. She had been here...they had lived an amazing life in his haven.  He had been gifted his haven by god himself when he was first tasked with running hell. His father had loved him dearly, thus trusting him with the one task her knew Belial would handle without complaint. In exchange, his father would bestow him a celestial haven. Belial would be able to keep one of heaven's gardens in his own secluded area in hell. He had even given Belial a home to rest in. The green gardens were filled with trees and vines. His favorite were the fountains...where if youd rest by its side quietly, you could close your eyes and hear earth's rivers. Belial laid down Irene's body near the fountain closest to his home. Her blood stain clothes looking more macabre against all the green. Her eyes had been closed for what he felt was forever. He had began to worry if he had been too late when she began to stir softly. Belial let go of a breath he hadnt realized he was holding. She was alive. He couldn't help in hugging her tightly. Irene had been so close to leaving him... "Bel...where is she?"  Her voice filled with love and curiosity...that would be the last time Belial would hear her sound like that for atleast a year. "She is gone mi amor..." said Belial in the softest voice he could muster. He braced as sudden realization of his words struck her like iced water. "Wh.....how could you!" hollered Irene. Belial could not bring himself to cry. He would mourn for his daughter, but his actions had saved her mother for her. With time Irene would understand.  Belial hugged Irene as she struggled and slapped his chest angrily. "Mal padre!" Shed holler until shed eventually cried herself to sleep.  (Horrible father) With time his haven would cure her, with time she would be able to go back to her daughter, with time... but time would not be on their side. Hell's time didnt apply to his haven. His haven went by heaven's time. Heaven's time was infinite, never needing to speed up for any reason.  Heaven's grace had prevented his Irene from passing to its pearly white gates.  He could not allow her to go back to earth in search of their daughter...just to die before she could begin. Belial could not go for his daughter. She was an innocent, they had no place in hell. Even his haven could not hold her.  His brother Gabriel had come down from heaven to warn him as much when his Irene had started to go into labor. His face filled with sorrow. Belial now understood it was because Gabriel knew her fate. "She cannot give birth here. This haven will not allow her to have the baby she carries. If you love her, take her to earth. That is where life must be born." said Gabriel. His humor filled eyes were clouded today. Belial had gone against gods mandate by having a child in the first place. His angelic children could not bring life as his creation man could. But Belial could not have known back then that Irene would one day come to be. -Back to the present- His Irene had since then come to terms with why he couldnt bring his daughter with him. Why she needed to grow and live as is god's will. Why he couldnt bring something as pure as she to hell, or his haven. She could not choose of her own free will to come. She was but a child, an infant. He shook his head. Every night Irene would leave his head filled with the same thoughts. Regret and explanations. He would regret leaving his daughter alone in that hospital. Never being able to find her again due to those humans taking her from him. He would never know if she was fed...if she was loved. He could never be a father to her. How can you father someone you lost? His heart would break. A break that would never heal. But his Irene was there...she would hold his heart in place til his daughter one day came to be known.  Til that day, he was a prince of hell. And he would continue his reign of misery til the end of time. .... Ramiel had been the one to bring Lucifer to hell. His golden robes swaying back and forth with every step. Belial had known what had happened. He could hear the battle in heaven as if it were happening right before him. His heart breaking everytime his brother's blades would collide. The bloody battle had been fought all of 6 days. Michael had been the one to finally put an end to Lucifer and his followers. Ramiel being one of Gods first 7 angels to be born was now tasked with throwing Lucifer into hell. He would not rule, but be subject to eternity away from God. That was his punishment. That and God's last peace offering, being allowed into heaven if he were to love man more than god himself. The peace offering being viewed as a sarcastic punishment in Lucifer's eyes. Ramiel threw his brother to the floor, hatred evident in his face. "He shouldnt have spared you." He spat. Lucifer was defenseless. His arms at his sides, no weapons on or near him. "It appears he still loves me dear brother." Said Lucifer, mostly to himself. Ramiel seemed to burn with heavenly light, his anger flaring. "How can anyone love you? You who would kill your own brothers and sisters over God's will being asked of you. You dare speak to me of love? When you couldn't love father enough?" yelled Ramiel. At those words, Ramiel pulled his sword out and flung it towards Lucifer. His sword almost connecting to Lucifer's neck. Lucifer had seemed to have accepted his fate. He was on the floor with his neck outstretched. Ready to accept his death instead of dad's punishment. Without a second to spare, Belial appeared. His red and black robes glistening as the fire around him jumped. With sword in hand, he threw Ramiel's blade to the side. "How dare you spill blood in my domain." Belial spoke. Ramiel's defiant eyes resting on his older brother, unwavering. "All is God's domain." He spat back. Ramiel took another blade from his waist, throwing himself forward...his intent clear. To kill Belial then Lucifer. Belial grabbed Ramiel's hand and bent it back in his grasp. His eyes hardening as he felt the blade hit home. His brother eyes widened with pain. Golden light shinning from his eyes. His body going limp as Belial held him up in his arms. He was gone. Another celestial life had been taken...but this time, Belial had been responsible. He could feel the sky shake with sadness. The same way it had shook when the revolution had ended. His brother's body was wrapped in a white sheet.  God was mourning another life. Michael appeared. His battle armor shinning brightly, the saphires and silvers casting lights over the river beside them. Belial took a step forward to offer Ramiel's body to him. It belonged to heaven, he should see his home one last time..even if it were in death. ...
