Can you believe that I will be living in this house? Cause I dont! I didn't care about Dylan's arm around my shoulder anymore, my eyes run everywhere and nowhere at the same time. The hugeness of the house is something I have never seen before.
Once inside he started naming rooms, introducing me to a couple of the maids addressing me as his 'sister' which somehow made my heart warm up.
We walked up the stairs and he kept talking about everyone who lives here. Since the house is really huge, I already figured that will be more than one family living here.
Dylan said that his family and his uncle's family lives here.
He showed me everyone's room as we passed by them and at some particular room he told me to never get in there. I asked him if it was Jason's but his respond was no and he warned me again from getting in there.
Seems like a really mysterious room that I will have to know all about later.
His uncle has two sons, Jason and his older brother Jordan. Dylan's sister whose name is Diana and his Older brother. And finally Jason's mother Anne. These are the people who lives here.
"And now this is your room" he said finally motioning to the door with both hands.
Smiling widely I turned on the knob.
The room was bigger than the one I had in the orphanage, and we were six girls sharing the same room. But this one is going to be all mine.
The room has white walls, a white carpet and white king sized bed. A desk with a laptop on top of it was in the far corner of the room. A huge window with a couch pushed against it is in the exact middle of room.
If anything, this is the most beautiful room I have ever gotten into.
"Do you like it?" I almost forgot Dylan standing in the doorway. Turning around to face him I nodded my head happily.
"Good, now if you need anything you know where my room is. Rest and put your things away" he said before leaving the room closing the door behind him.
Sighing loudly I walked to the bed and jumped on it. Laying my body on the soft mattress feels so good. It's like I have never laid down on a bed before.
How did my life turn out to be like this? I swear to God if you told me that I will be laying in this fancy room just two days ago, I would have laughed at you ,called you crazy and probably kicked your ass.
Just over night, a family wanted to take me in and now here I am.
With these thoughts sleep took over me.
*************
I dont know for how long I have been sleeping, but it was definitely a long time ,Because as I opened my eyes the room was pitch dark it almost scared me.
It took me a while to remember how did I get in that room. Replaying the whole day a smile took over my face.
I still can't believe it! It all seems like a sick dream.
I probably sound way too happy and excited, but you can't really blame a girl who has been living her whole life in that orphanage to be happy for this big turn in her life.
But I shouldn't be too happy ,right? I haven't even met the woman or man who signed the adoption papers. I don't think they have seen me before, I can't quite remember someone coming to see me back there or ask to be my guardian.
I think they dont even know me, and they will probably change their minds once they see me.
I sighed deeply and got up from the bed. I made my way to the double doors to what seemed to be the bathroom.
Opening the door inside of the bathroom is cleaner than all the places I have ever been to.
Does people actually take a s**t in this place? It should be a museum not a freaking bathroom.
I walked to the huge mirror and stared at my reflection. The girl who is looking back at me looks so out of place. Comparing to this clean-neat place, I look so dirty.
My light brown curly hair is all over the place, and my hazel eyes looks big from all the sleep that I got.
I'm not anything special. Not so beautiful and not too ugly. Just plain normal I guess. To be honest I don't know why girls have to make a big deal about their appearance. Maybe it's the fact that I never had enough money to buy makeup or designed clothes to know the big deal about how I look.
All I have to think about that I look decent, and not too ugly for the human eye.
Shrugging all the thoughts away, I splashed a cup of water over my sleepy looking face and exited the room.
I hear noise coming from downstairs, the noise of two kids fighting over something or someone. Skipping to the last stair I followed where the voices were coming from.
I walked into the kitchen and I was really expecting two little kids, like four or five years old fighting over a bar of chocolate. But what I'm seeing right now is exactly the opposite.
Yes they are two, and yes they are fighting over a bar of chocolate but they are far from being four or five.
A girl who looks my age or a little bit older is fighting with an older guy. A much older guy, like twenty three or maybe twenty five.
But the thing is that the guy oddly made every inch in my body heat up.
How can someone look so good?
The guy has jet black hair that has some gray at the ends. His eyes are everything I have never seen before. They are soo gray with some shades of blue and green in them.
He is tall, like really tall maybe 6,6. His body is well built, but not overly muscular like Dylan. And don't let me start with his pink plumb lips that are moving as he argued with the girl.
God he is so damn gorgeous!
I probably stood there staring at him for a while, because all of the sudden the both of them stopped talking and turned to look at me.
My eyes drifted to the girl as I heard her voice and her words directed to me, but it's like I heard them but I really didn't hear them.
"Ha?" I asked probably looking like the biggest fool alive.
"Who..the..hell..are..you?" She repeated her words slowly just as if she is talking to a deaf person.
Oh wait what?
Finally coming back to reality where I'm standing in the doorway of the kitchen in the house that I just came to a few hours ago as the new adopted girl, making a fool of myself in the first interaction with someone here.
Great! Way to go Aliyah.
"Umm, I'm Aliyah" I said trying to hold my stutters. And thank God I didn't make myself look more of a dumb girl.
The girl raised her eyebrows, crossing her arms over her chest and giving me the ' I dont know who the hell is that' look.
"I..I'm the girl who was adopted a few hours ago" I explained.
A look of realization washed over her face and she nodded her head slowly "mhmm, you are the homeless b***h Jason told me about"
Wait who?
"Excuse you who?" I said now my turn to raise an eyebrow. Why is almost everyone in this house being mean to me for no reason?
"You. aren't you the orphan girl?" She voiced out raising her eyebrow one more time.
I narrowed my eyes to the guy who was watching this whole thing with amusement.
A rich asshole!
"True I am the orphan girl, but last time I checked I wasn't a homeless girl nor a b***h" I said back.
The girl opened her mouth to say something but a voice interrupted her." What the f**k are you doing here!" And I might say a very angry voice.
At first I thought the words were thrown to me, I got ready to defend myself and kick the s**t out of whoever is planing to give me a hard time.
But then the look on the girl's face made me think twice. Her blue eyes turned into dull gray all of the sudden, colors flashing over her face and she looks like she going to piss in her pants.
I glanced back to take a look at the new comer.
Why does everyone in this house has to be unbelievably sexy?
The guy who is standing close to the staircase, in front of the kitchen area, has the same hair as Dylan, the same eyes as Dylan, and the same built body like Dylan. They are almost Identical the only difference that this guy looks older and Dylan looks like he is twelve.
We locked eyes for a few moments and then he turned his gaze once more to the shocked looking girl.
"I asked you a question Alex, what are you doing here?" He said dragging the words slowly. He sounds so intimidating in a scary kind of way. I can't say that I'm not scared for my life and a little for the girl's life.
"Umm.." she mumbled lowly. Not sounding like you were minutes ago ha?
As I'm standing fully looking into the girl I heard steps from behind me. That doesn't sound so good now, I have to run for my dear life!
Slowly I stepped aside a few times, trying not to make any sound.
Can you imagine the situation that I am in right now? The new -death- alike comer is having a staring contest with the blond girl while the stupidly beautiful guy is just looking at them as if he is having a laugh, while I am there trying my hard not make a sound so I can get the hell out of here!
Being over dramatic is something that I'm pretty good at ,like really. And the situation right now is not helping my drama queen acts right .
Not at all.
